Be able to see them everyday.  How would you like to feel you have honored the memory of a loved one or honored yourself in your own journey?  Journey Sculptures can help you navigate the tricky process of decluttering and editing your space.

If it brings you joy, display it.

Everyone is on a Journey

Transforming Life’s Most Meaningful Objects into Works of Art

Sentimenal clutter can be elevated, with Journey Sculptures

Your Journey Matters

  • Most of us inherit objects.
  • The object are sentimenal because they remind us of a person or event.
  • Journey Sculptures preserve the object and the story.
  • The sculpture spark conversations.
  • The sculptures can connect generations.
  • They allow children and grandchildren to understand not only what belonged to someone—but why those things mattered.
  • Instead of asking, “What should I do with all this stuff?”
  • People begin asking, “What story do I want to tell?”

Step 1

Share Your Story

Every Journey Sculpture begins with a conversation.

Tell Deborah about the people, memories, and experiences you want your sculpture to celebrate.

Step 2

Gather Your Keepsakes

Collect the meaningful objects that represent your story.

  • Jewelry
  • Photographs
  • Letters
  • Fabric
  • Buttons
  • Souvenirs
  • Family heirlooms
  • Military items
  • Collections
  • Natural treasures
  • Anything that holds meaning.

Step 3

Design Together

Deborah works with you to create a concept that reflects your personality and your story.

This collaborative process ensures every sculpture is deeply personal.

Step 4

Your Story Comes to Life

Each sculpture is handcrafted in Deborah’s Georgia studio.

The finished artwork becomes a lasting celebration of your life’s journey.

Start Your Journey

Your sentimental objects deserve a palce of honor.

Story of pictured Journey Sculpture

This sculpture was created for a Train Engineer, he worked for 30 years.  The painting I created was from a picture of a tunnel he went through on the start of every trip.  Going to North Carolina from Georgia.

All stories are worth capturing

Reasons for a Sculpture

Celebrating a wedding

Honoring a loved one

Remembering a beloved pet

Recognizing a Retirement

Preserving Family History

If it brings you joy, Display it.

Are you looking for a way to display your personnel memberelia or a way to honor the memory of a friend or family member?  Let’s work together to create a solution that will uplift your spirit, by elevating your sentimental clutter to sentimental art.

 PEOPLE

A person can be honored anytime.  A “Journey Sculpture” can be a way to have a daily reminder of the impact the person made in your life. The sculpture can be for you or given as a gift to the person you are honoring.

PLACES

A place can be honored. A “Journey Sculpture” can be a way to remember your childhood home, or a place you visited often as a child or a place in the town you went to college. Create a “Journey Sculpture” to invoke the joy you feel about the place. Give yourself a memory every day of a special place.

THINGS

Things themselves can invoke memories.    A “Journey Sculpture” can be a perfect way to display a “thing” that brings you joy but has no place in your life. A “thing” can be something valuable like a necklace, watch or ring but it isn’t something you would wear everyday.  Instead of putting it in a jewelry box, put it in a “Journey Sculpture” and be able to see it every day.

EXPERIENCE

You had an experience that you would like to remember everyday.  Maybe a first date, a honeymoon, wedding, a hike in the woods or walk on the beach.  We all have an experience that would be nice to remember everyday.  Not just to say to ourselves “that was nice”, but to feel gratitude for the experience in the first place.

I look forward to hearing about your Journey

I look forward to hearing about your Journey

Every life leaves behind a collection of meaningful objects.

The question isn’t whether they’re valuable.

The question is whether their stories will be remembered.

Journey Sculptures transform those treasured keepsakes into artwork that celebrates who we are, where we’ve been, and the people we’ve loved.

Let’s create something future generations will treasure—not because of the objects themselves, but because of the stories they tell.

Artist

The creation of the Journey Sculptures brings me joy because I am bringing honor to what was once forgotten.   But I also love the challenge of creating specific artwork to be included in the assemblage, which helps unify the sculpture.  I love the fact that I can create paintings, glass works, ceramics, hand printed fabrics, truly anything from my vast art making skills.    The Journey Assembles Sculptures reflect a journey in stuff but also reflect my life and a lifetime of making art.  Enjoy your trip.
I love the sculpture you created.  I had a idea to do something with the small photo of my brother.  He died as a young man.  When you asked about somthing of my mothers, I thought her tea cup I have had for years. It was perfect that I got a painting of the cup and the picture of my brother.  The tea strainer just tied it all together. Thank you

Honoring her Mother

Thank you for helping us honor our Mother.  Your artwork captured her passion for Washington State and Indian treasures.  You put together a lovely way to dispaly her jars of trinkets.

Honoring her Mother in Law

Your sculpture does a wonderful job at  capturing the carefree days of child hood.  When I see the little peices it reminds me of all the times I went to wash my kids pants to find their pocket filled with sticks, rocks and bottle caps.  The painting of the girls on a tire swing is classic.  The clay castle reminds me of all the sand castles I built as a kid.  Your Journey Sculptures are fantasic and capture a moment in time perfectly.
